Becky was first class. Caring, compassionate, friendly & patient. My daughter Chloe (9 yrs) always looks forward to her tuition and has improved her use of conjunctions, adjectives, prepositions, commas, handwriting and spelling dramatically. I have no hesitation in recommending Becky - she gets results.

We have been matched with Charlotte, an inspiring teacher who brings English to life for a child who constantly informs us that she "positively hates" English & was going to get a 1 at GCSE. Most weeks she comes off her session with Charlotte bemoaning "If only she was my school English teacher" - "please can we move to her school" - high praise indeed. Needless to say I have never seen my daughter take pride in any of her English work, but now she often comes down from tutoring and reads what she's produced. What a turnaround!!

Callie is a fantastic tutor, she has been amazing at finding the gaps in my sons knowledge from school and ensuring he has a really good baseline knowledge before progressing. This time and effort is something that is easily missed at school in busy classroom scenarios; and in turn has really improved his confidence back inside the classroom too. He absolutely adores Callie, finds it so easy to focus when learning with her and looks forward to his tutoring sessions each week! I would recommend primary tutor project to any parent looking to improve their childrenโ€™s confidence, knowledge and ultimately to teach them to love learning and education.

I never, and I mean never, thought my year 6 son would want to, and not just want to but be excited for, an extra lesson after school but somehow Callie has managed to make that happen! The lesson itself is well planned and carried out and the weekly report really helps keep me up to date with how my child is getting on. The process of signing up is straightforward and the videos you get access to are really helpful and informative. Overall Callie is fantastic and the whole of Primary Tutor Project comes HIGHLY recommended!

๐ŸŒŸ How confident were you when growing up? ๐ŸŒŸ

Many people struggle with confidence, and we all know itโ€™s not a great feeling. ๐Ÿ’ญ

We know how important it is for you as a parent to raise your child(ren) to believe in themselves and their abilities. โค๏ธ

So, how can you foster confidence in them? Here are some ideas:

๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Encourage Expression of Feelings: Teach your child to articulate their emotions and thoughts. Show them how to be open and honest. Talking things through will help them understand themselves better and grow more confident every day.

๐Ÿ‘ Praise Their Efforts, Not Just Success: Remember a time when no one acknowledged something amazing you did at work or home? It felt crushing, didnโ€™t it? Itโ€™s the same for your child. Celebrate their efforts, no matter the outcome. This builds a growth mindset and encourages them to try new things without fear of failure.

๐Ÿ’ก Create a Safe Space for Mistakes: Nobody likes being constantly told theyโ€™re wrong. Let your child make mistakes and learn from them. Remind them that failure is just part of the learning process. This builds resilience and helps them bounce back stronger.

Be their cheerleader every day and watch your child grow in confidence! ๐ŸŒˆ

Do you want to boost your child's maths skills? ๐Ÿค”โœจ

Why not turn learning into an adventure with fun, educational games that you can play at home? ๐Ÿก๐ŸŽฎ

These activities not only sharpen their arithmetic and problem-solving skills but they also create precious bonding moments. ๐Ÿ’ž

Here are some exciting examples:

๐ŸŽด Math Card Games: Your child will practice quick mental maths by solving problems with addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division.
๐ŸŽฒ Dice Math: This game is great for improving speed and accuracy while keeping things exciting! ๐ŸŽ‰โœ–๏ธโž•
๐Ÿ›’ Budget Shopping Game: By setting up a pretend store, this game will help you teach your child real-world money skills . Your child will learn to calculate totals, manage a budget, and even figure out change.

The aim of such games is to make maths something your child looks forward to everyday.

Here at Primary Tutor Project, we believe that learning should be fun, engaging, and meaningful.
