What does Primary Tutor Project provide?

Primary Tutor Project provides (amazing, engaging and inspiring!) online Tuition Clubs and one-on-one sessions for children aged 5-13. Check out our services here.

How do I enrol?

Once you have decided that your child may benefit from the support offered by Primary
Tutor Project, you can sign up with us in just a few minutes:
• For 1:1 tuition, find more information and enquire here. We will contact you as soon as possible to answer any questions you may have, and to begin the enrolment process.

• For club tuition, please select your club here then complete the booking form and pay for a one-month trial of the club.

Can I cancel my tutoring program?

Yes, you can. We follow consumer protection laws, which state that services bought online
reserve the right to a refund 14 days after the order was taken. However, if you have started
to use the tuition service, you will be liable to pay for hat you have received. If you decide to cease tuition for any reason, we require a minimum of two weeks’ notice for 1:1 tuition and one month’s notice for club tuition.

Why online tutoring?

At PTP, we are huge fans of online tuition. Most importantly: our students love it, and we
see them make loads of progress. Online tutoring has a number of benefits including convenience and flexibility for our families, tuition taking place in a comfortable environment familiar to your child, having more access to learning resources and enabling you to access the very best educators, from wherever you are in the world!

What is the duration of a session?

Can siblings or friends have lessons together?

Yes! We recommend you first check out our Tuition Clubs for siblings and friends. If you have two or more students who are of similar ability and you wish for them to have a private lesson, please let us know on the 1:1 booking form. The tutor will conduct an initial assessment of both students to decide upon eligibility for group sessions. Prices vary depending on your requirements. Find more information and enquire here.

Is tuition available over the school holidays?

If I am running late, will I lose a lesson?

Bookings & Payment

How do I pay my fees?

When you register with Primary Tutor Project, you will be assigned with a Tutorcruncher
account to manage your lesson bookings and payments.

• Clubs and Clubs Plus+: Once you have made the payment for the first trial month of tuition,
you will be asked if you wish to continue with the club. Thereinafter, you will be charged the
set fee of £90 or £125 per month for the rest of the academic year. This is charged as direct debit for UK students, and Card Payment for international students.

• 1:1 Tuition: You will receive a monthly invoice to pay for classes for the month ahead. You
can do this by paying online or via Direct Debit.

I can't express how absolutely wonderful it has been to teach again today!

I taught some 1:1s for our students who have opted for Tuition Clubs Plus+ this year, which gets them our weekly Tuition Clubs AND a monthly 1:1 session to focus on whatever skill they need extra support with.

Today, I taught a student from Hong Kong, who is a Writers Clubs Plus+ member, how to structure his sentences more effectively.

I taught a Year 7 Club Plus+ student a recap on calculation skills using BIDMAS and a refresher on figurative language ready for her return to school.

I had SO much fun, the students did brilliantly, and can't wait to see everyone else this week! 🥰
