About Me
I am a qualified teacher with extensive experience supporting children at KS1 and lower KS2, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) such as autism, ADHD, and global developmental delay. Over the years, I have developed tailored strategies to create engaging, structured, and supportive lessons that meet each child’s unique needs. I use visual aids, predictable routines, movement-based activities, and achievable steps to help children build confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
My Approach
I believe learning should be enjoyable, meaningful, and accessible to every child. I tailor lessons to each child’s strengths, interests, and learning style, breaking down concepts into manageable steps and celebrating every success. My lessons are interactive, engaging, and designed to foster resilience, confidence, and a lifelong positive attitude towards learning. Children thrive in my sessions because they feel supported, challenged in the right way, and motivated by progress they can see and feel.
My Goal
My aim is to help every child feel successful, confident, and excited about learning. I focus on building strong foundations, whether in literacy, numeracy, or general learning skills, and I adapt my approach to suit each child’s needs, pace, and abilities. Above all, I want to inspire children to enjoy learning, achieve their potential, and develop skills and confidence that will last a lifetime.
