Hello! I’m Sarah, an experienced teacher and tutor with over 20 years working in education. I began my career as an Infant Teacher, often teaching mixed-age classes, which has given me a strong ability to differentiate and adapt my teaching on the go.

I now specialise in tutoring Maths and English up to Year 6, even though my specialism is KS1 and lower KS2. I love making sessions fun, engaging, and practical so that children not only learn but really enjoy the process. My approach is very interactive – I often teach maths through games and creative activities, helping children build confidence and enthusiasm as well as knowledge.

When tutoring online, I like to bring a natural rhythm to the session: short, focused teaching broken into steps, with fun and creative breaks in between. Sometimes this might be a quick game, a brain break, or even something musical to keep energy levels up and minds engaged.

I believe every child learns best when lessons are enjoyable, interactive, and tailored to their needs – and that’s exactly what I aim to provide.
