Fern

Hi, I’m Fern! I hold a PGCE in Primary Education from the University of Cambridge and have seven years of teaching experience in UK schools.

I enjoy building strong, positive relationships with my students and I love designing engaging lessons tailored to their individual interests and needs. My goal is to foster a love of learning whilst helping my students make excellent progress.

I support children aged 5 - 12 with maths and English. Whether students need help to build their confidence in a subject, or a challenge to extend their learning, my approach is friendly and encouraging. I aim to help students to feel motivated to learn and proud of their achievements.

I particularly love tackling maths puzzles and inventing number games to make tricky concepts fun. I have a passion children’s literature and enjoy discussing books with my students and sharing reading recommendations!
