I’m a fully qualified primary school teacher with over 15 years of classroom experience and 6 years tutoring experience. I’ve also supported children in secondary settings, and have received specialist training to work one-to-one with children with a wide range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Why do I love to tutor? Seeing the penny drop and the lightbulb moment makes it all worthwhile! Tutoring is just as much about building confidence as it is about boosting academic achievement. I really enjoy those moments when children feel confident enough to tell me what they’ve been finding tricky at school - and what’s gone well. Being part of their learning journey is a real privilege.
