Sonia Wallman

I am a qualified teacher with over 25 years of experience in the classroom in both state and independent schools and 10 years of tutoring experience.

I tutor both nationally and internationally from ages 4-18. I can help with phonics, spelling, reading, writing, and maths. I have experience in preparing children for the phonics test in year 1, the times tables test in year 4, and SATS in year 6. I prepare children for 4+ to 11+ entry exams for independent schools online for British and international students. I also teach General English to international students.

I have a wealth of training and experience working with children with special needs and teaching English as an additional language. I am happy to help your student catch up, keep up, or get ahead with their learning. I am a caring teacher and am keen to help students foster a love of learning by making lessons fun and engaging, I focus on building their confidence so that they can reach their full potential.

I am a member of The Tutors' Association which requires members to have an up-to-date advanced DBS certificate and provide safeguarding and other professional training.
