Dyslexia and ADHD are different conditions, but they can
occur together in some children. Dyslexia mainly affects reading, spelling, and
language processing, while ADHD affects attention and impulse control/concentration.
A child can have one without the other, or both at the same
time. When they do overlap, learning can feel more challenging because
attention difficulties combine with literacy challenges. Online tutoring for dyslexic/ADHD
students and ADHD homeschooling usually need to address both areas separately, using strategies
that suit how the child learns and processes information.
