Rebecca Preston

I'm Rebecca, a primary teacher with over 7 years experience supporting children with their learning.

I have a background in learning through art and use this to aim to keep lessons playful, creative and engaging. I have supported UK and international students with writing, maths, phonics and general English, including students with English as an additional language.

My experience in UK schools included working with children age 4-11 however I have now expanded to offer support for KS3 students. I find that some children sometimes require a bit more of a bridge building from primary to secondary and I offer that support to make hesitant learners feel confident!

Parents have often praised me on my ability to work to their child's needs and interests. This includes considering any additional needs such as ADHD, ASD and dyslexia. I love finding ways to build connections with my students and always encourage a positive environment to allow children to express themselves in lessons.
